Thank you, Adrian Wellmeyer, for a great summer with Blythe Global Advisors!

These photos might give the impression that it was all fun and games. But Adrian’s summer internship was defined by real, substantive work: SOX compliance, IT general controls, and segregation of duties analysis, including journal entry exception testing. He also took on more technical projects, preparing a segment reporting memo for one client and rebuilding another’s entire fixed asset register, designing the asset structure and tagging from the ground up. Along the way, he found ways to bring AI into the mix to automate reporting and create efficiencies.

Adrian is currently studying accounting at Cal State Fullerton, graduating in summer 2028, with his sights set on becoming a CPA and, eventually, an audit partner. And when he’s not buried in workpapers, he’s a competitive collegiate runner with a 4-minute mile (yes, you read that right!).
